Inventory Closing Specialist

Inventory Closing Specialist (Bilingual Korean required)\n\nTimpl has partnered with a global EV battery manufacturing company and is\nseeking for a Inventory Closing Specialist.\n\n\n\nRole and Responsibilities:\n\nContinuous Improvement Initiatives\n\n * Drive initiatives to improve process efficiency and yield, reduce waste and\n production loss, and enhance overall productivity.\n * Identify potential actions to improve material loss control.\n * Collaborate with Technology, Production, and Quality teams to identify and\n implement potential process improvements.\n * Handle discrepancies between the Manufacturing Execution System (MES),\n Warehouse Management System (WMS), and equipment data.\n\n \n\nQuality Assurance and Control\n\n * Conduct inspections to adhere to quality standards and regulatory\n requirements.\n * Learn how to identify valid material for production.\n\n \n\nData Analysis and Process Improvement\n\n * Help develop and refine processes to increase the accuracy of Enterprise\n Resource Planning (ERP) management system/database.\n * Analyze ERP, MES, and WMS data to identify trends, performance issues, and\n areas for improvement.\n * Regularly read and understand the data indexes above and how they relate to\n one another.\n\n \n\nSupervising and Production Control Management\n\n * Advise the production team on manpower allocation to improve inventory\n accuracy and closing.\n * Correct any issues regarding material usage and material process matters\n * Monitor daily production data transferred to purchase orders (PO) and work\n orders (WO)\n\n \n\nFinance, Accounting, and Yield Control\n\n * Understand and explain the close relationship between inventory closing and\n production yield.\n * Create comprehensive work instructions and other documentation to improve\n material processes and procedures.\n\n \n\nDocumentation and Reporting\n\n * Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management teams (internal to\n SKBA and external to SK On Headquarters).\n * Prepare detailed reports and presentations for other teams (Logistics,\n Production, Quality, Technology, etc.)\n * Organize, understand, and compare production material / system data as\n required depending on needs\n * Analyze and report ERP data to various SKBA teams in order to draw meaningful\n conclusions and facilitate improvement.\n\n \n\nSkills and Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor's degree strongly preferred: Science, Math, Engineering, Technology.\n OR Finance/Accounting.\n * 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (LI battery industry\n experience is a plus)\n * Process engineering or related experience within a manufacturing environment\n preferred.\n * Basic IT related problem-solving skills.\n * Proficiency in process optimization and data-driven decision making.\n * Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to\n work collaboratively in a team environment.\n * Effective communication skills to convey technical information and\n collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
