Senior Accountant
Our client, a growing and highly respected organization in the Nashville area, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to take the next step in their career with a stable and successful company. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and supporting business operations through accurate financial analysis and reporting. This role is fully onsite in Nashville, TN.
Salary up to $90,000 based on experience
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
- Support annual audits and coordinate requests from external auditors
- Maintain balance sheet schedules and supporting documentation
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- CPA designation or CPA candidate
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Experience in a multi-entity or high-growth environment
