Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in labor and delivery nursing and be comfortable in various roles including labor/induction patients, circulating in the OB-OR, and caring for antepartum patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
• Assist with labor induction and monitor patient progress.
• Circulate in the operating room for obstetric surgeries as needed.
• Support antepartum patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Perform assessments and maintain accurate patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 18 months of recent and permanent Labor and Delivery experience.
• MUST HAVE a permanent Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE at the time of submission.
• Experience with EPIC Stork is preferred but not required.
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for submission.
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate during orientation, with acceptable scores on both assessments required.
