Material Handler Full Time Dixon, IL, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1169 Salary Range: $17.03 To $22.14 Annually Sewer Equipment provides the highest quality and most innovative sewer cleaning products for the municipal and contractor market. The Material Handler is responsible to accurately transfer products with a forklift, both physically and logically, into and/or out of the facility in a timely manner. Duties/Responsibilities: Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations. Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information. Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy. Confirms shipping details or special instructions; expedites shipments that affect the manufacturing process schedule. Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids). When problems arise, resolves issues with contractors or vendors. Validates, approves, and forwards invoices to accounting department. Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Good math and written communication skills. Education and Experience: 1-2 years' Forklift experience Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds at a time. Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures inside and outside of the warehouse. Commitments and Location: Permanent Full-Time Role Based in Dixon, IL Day Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:30 am- 5:00pm Benefits Include: Pay Range of $17.03 - $22.14. Productivity Bonus, paid quarterly.
