Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Physical Therapist providing compassionate and comprehensive care. This part-time role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating physical therapy services to help patients achieve their optimal functional levels.

Job Summary

Deliver physical therapy in both outpatient and inpatient settings, conducting patient intakes and evaluations, setting goals, and developing individualized care plans. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, safety, and equipment use, while continuously monitoring progress and adjusting therapies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments and develop problem-oriented treatment plans with clear objectives.
• Ensure therapy plans are implemented effectively and modified based on patient progress.
• Provide instruction and counseling to patients and families for safe home care and continuity.
• Regularly evaluate therapy effectiveness, consulting with physicians and care teams to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of clinical excellence and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with best practices through ongoing education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Comply with all regulatory and safety standards.

Education and Experience

• Clinical doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Preferred: At least one year of physical therapy practice experience.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current, unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy in Washington State.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Strong knowledge of therapy theories and clinical concepts.
• Excellent communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.

Physical Requirements

Includes frequent lifting and carrying of various weights, standing, walking, bending, and other physical activities consistent with therapy duties.

Work Environment

This position offers flexible scheduling with 8-hour shifts in a 40-hour workweek under a service contract.
