Electromechanical Assembly Supervisor
Primary Skills: Electromechanical Assembly (advanced), Production Scheduling (advanced), Team Leadership (advanced), Quality Control (intermediate), Lean Manufacturing (intermediate)
Contract Type: W2 Duration: 6 Months Location: Greater Boston, MA Pay Range: $35- $40 per hour
Job Summary: This role is responsible for overseeing a team of build technicians in a rapid prototyping and low-rate production environment. You will manage daily operations, drive production targets, and ensure high-quality standards are met. This position requires a hands-on leader capable of troubleshooting technical issues and motivating a team in a fast-paced, evolving setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct a team of 8-12 build technicians daily.
- Assign work, track production output, and address bottlenecks.
- Uphold quality and safety standards on the assembly floor.
- Train and develop technician skills and performance.
- Liaise between engineering and production teams on build issues.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proven experience in a supervisory manufacturing role.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Industry Experience
- Experience in prototype or low-rate production manufacturing environments is highly preferred, particularly within industries like robotics, aerospace, automotive, or defense.
