Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services under supervision within a rehabilitation team for residents in a long-term care setting.
- Implement and progress treatment plans created by physical therapists, including therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and activities to improve mobility and function.
- Monitor and document resident progress, goals, and any changes in condition in the medical record.
- Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and ambulation to promote safety and reduce risk of falls.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, nursing staff, and other rehabilitation professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
- Educate residents and families on prescribed home exercise programs, safety strategies, and functional improvements.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in North Dakota or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Availability for a day shift with guaranteed hours; must be able to sustain a 36-hour weekly schedule.
- Prior experience in rehabilitation or geriatric care settings is preferred.
- Comfortable documenting care and communicating progress with the rehab team.
- Compliance with facility and regulatory requirements as applicable.
