Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Medical-Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Schedule

Day shifts: 7 AM - 7 PM
Dupont Schedule: 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
Every other weekend required

Contract Details

This position will start with a 4-week contract, with opportunities for extensions based on performance and needs. Flexibility regarding the schedule is essential, and no requested time off (RTO) will be accommodated during this contract period.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a Medical-Surgical setting.
Monitor patient vital signs and overall health status.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement patient care plans.
Assist in patient education and discharge planning.

Qualifications

Current registered nurse license in Texas or multistate license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Med-Surg setting.
Ability to maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1.
Professional appearance: solid color scrubs, clean and professional demeanor.
