A healthcare facility in central Illinois is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgery Physician for a long-term locum tenens assignment beginning summer 2026 . This opportunity offers a predictable one week per month schedule with a mix of daytime coverage and call responsibilities.

Assignment Details

• Start: Summer 2026

• Schedule: One full week per month (Monday 7:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM)

• Day Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Weeknight Call: 5:00 PM 7:00 AM

• Weekend Call: Friday 5:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM (24-hour call coverage)

• Coverage Type: Clinic, inpatient consults, and call coverage

• Assignment Length: Ongoing long-term

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery

• Active Illinois medical license required

• 6 hours of stroke-specific CME within a rolling 2-year period

• Ability to meet credentialing requirements including health attestation, vaccination records, drug screening, and physical within 90 days of start
