Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our team in Westminster, MD. As a CNC Programmer, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by creating precise and efficient programs for our CNC machines. If you have a passion for technology and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create accurate machining instructions.
- Set up and calibrate CNC machines for production runs.
- Monitor machining processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machining issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve processes and reduce waste.
- Maintain documentation of programs, setups, and changes made during production.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CNC technology.
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role.
- Proficient in CAD/CAM software and CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code).
- Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC programming is a plus.
