Position: Educational Associate - Band Program (part time) Location: Edina High School Summary: With the focus to support and advance the Edina Public Schools’ mission, vision, and core values, and under the supervision of the principal and music directors, the Educational Associate for the high school choral and/or instrumental music programs is responsible for supporting students and department staff. Position responsibilities include program communication, organizing events, providing financial and budget support, music library, instrument and uniform organization, and assisting with general administrative duties. Rate of Pay: The wage for this position ranges from $22.20 to $26.20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Most candidates will start at the entry-level rate of $22.20 per hour. However, candidates with prior work experience in a related field may be eligible for a starting rate of up to $23.00 per hour. For those with direct experience in this specific role, the starting rate may exceed $23.00 per hour, depending on their qualifications and experience. These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, in consideration of the individual’s experience and the school district’s budget. Daily Schedule: 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon M-F Working Days per Year: 170 days/year (all student days) Qualifications Required / Preferred: Associate's Degree or at least two years of post-secondary education (a minimum of 60 semester credits). Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Photoshop, Publisher, etc.). Enjoys being among high school students and displays a positive “can-do” presence.
