Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a patient service center in Yanceyville, NC. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, managing patient data, and delivering customer service across a varied weekly schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
• Process billing and collect patient payments as needed
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and provide customer service

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or current certification
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Reliable transportation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
