Job Description:
The role involves providing care in a new Labor and Delivery unit where nurses should have a strong NICU background or experience in a LEVEL 2 or higher nursery. Although the unit has a Level 1 nursery, nurses may need to care for LEVEL 2 or higher newborns awaiting transport to a higher level of care. Occasionally, an unstable newborn may require immediate attention and stabilization until transported.
