The most important thing we build is TRUST Our San Diego location is seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Digital Engineer for new product development and product improvement projects as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Take ownership for a digital component within a phased radar or Electronic Warfare application and drive the design from concept to production. As a senior engineer, you will also lead and mentor junior engineers. Key Responsibilities * Architect, simulate, design, develop, support implementation, and integration of digital functions and sub-systems into Honeywell products. * Perform requirements specification, digital design, HDL coding, simulation, design verification, system integration, and transition to production. * Translate specifications into digital designs including microcontrollers, FPGAs, DRAM, digital synthesizers, A/Ds, D/As, sensors, switching and linear regulators. * Circuit card design including parts selection, schematic entry, and layout oversight

• Partition FPGA architectures and develop and simulate VHDL HDL coding.
• Write and debug embedded code for micro-controllers.
• Test and integrate circuit cards / sub-systems / systems.
• Interface with complex RF subsystems and/or motion-controlled positioner

assemblies. * Author related documentation such as design description documents, verification procedures, etc.
