We are committed to sustainable growth, operational excellence, and strict adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.We are seeking a Process Engineer to support and drive manufacturing performance on our TAD Paper Machine. This role plays a key part in advancing process reliability, optimizing production efficiency, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across tissue operations.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:· Drive process optimization to improve efficiency, output, and overall equipment performance· Develop and enhance process monitoring tools and reporting using data historian systems· Lead process trials from concept through execution, analysis, and implementation· Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with Quality, Operations, and Safety teams· Analyze production data, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to improve performance· Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards and support safety initiatives· Conduct risk assessments and contribute to proactive safety improvements on the Paper Machine· Support capital projects and process enhancements to improve long term operational performance· Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and communication of process improvements· Support daily operations and provide technical guidance as neededRequirements:· Bachelor’s degree in Paper Science Engineering or Chemical Engineering· Experience in a paper mill or process engineering role preferred· Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills· Experience with data historian systems or process monitoring tools preferred· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related systems· Demonstrated ability to analyze data and drive process improvements· Commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross functional teamWhy Join Sofidel America?· Competitive compensation· 401(k) with company match· Medical, dental, and vision coverage· Paid time off and company holidays· Opportunities for professional growth and advancement· Collaborative and safety focused work environment· Exposure to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellenceEqual Opportunity Employer:Sofidel America is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
