As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you'll move from executing the process to helping shape it — working side-by-side with our Manufacturing and Process Engineers to troubleshoot problems, improve how things get built, and support the assembly team at a higher level.If you're mechanically sharp, know your way around a production line, and want to grow beyond hands-on assembly into process improvement and engineering support, we want to hear from you. (Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required — we'll teach you the industry if you bring the aptitude.)What You'll DoFloor Support & TroubleshootingTroubleshoot issues with prototypes, production assemblies, equipment, and tooling directly on the production floorBe a go-to technical resource the assembly team can count on when something isn't working rightProcess ImprovementHelp engineers develop, sustain, and improve manufacturing processesSupport line setup, optimization, and reorganization from Gemba walks and productivity initiativesAssist with prototype builds, line validations, and process trialsDocumentation & SystemsCollect and document data from process improvements and production trialsHelp maintain accurate BOMs, routings, and work instructions in our ERP systemContinuous Improvement & MentorshipParticipate in root cause investigations and help implement corrective actionsSupport training so the team stays consistent with work instructions and proceduresWhat You BringAssociate's degree in engineering/technology, or equivalent hands-on experience with strong mechanical aptitude2+ years in a manufacturing environment — assembly operations, mechanical systems, and hands-on process supportComfort reading engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentationFamiliarity with measurement devices, hand/power tools, and testing equipmentCAD experience (SolidWorks, ProE, AutoCAD) a plus, not requiredERP experience a plus, not requiredA problem-solver's mindset — you notice what's not working and want to help fix itPhysical and Mental DemandsFrequent prolonged standing and sitting standing and walking in office, manufacturing, warehouse, or operational environments.Occasional bending, reaching, climbing stairs, and light lifting (up to 40 lbs., if applicable).Visual acuity to review data, analyze reports, and observe operational processes, with color perception required.Will be engaged in frequent problem-solving to evaluate complex processes and identify root causes.Ability to interpret data, metrics to help drive decisions.High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and receive and provide instructions in a positive manner.Willing to work across all locations and shifts to ensure continuous support for projects and production as needed.Flexible to change and possess a high degree level of integrity and "can do attitude".The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.Why Work With MPE?Medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, and life insurance starting the first of the month after your hire date401(k) match and profit sharingVacation time from day one9 paid holidays for regular full-time employeesPaid training
