Phlebotomist II FloatPride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II Float to support our client's medical facility, based in Overland Park, KS 66210.This is a 4+ month contract role with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Location: Overland Park, KS 66210Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Sat 8:00 am to noon (40hrs/week)Pay Range: $22.26/hr Mileage Reimbursement: $0.72 per mile for eligible travel/floating mileage. The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume.Roles & Responsibilities:Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.Education:A high school diploma or equivalent is required.Medical training (such as medical assistant or paramedic programs) is preferred.Experience:Minimum of three (3) years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.At least two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting is preferred.Pride-Health offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.Equal Employment OpportunityPride-Health is an equal opportunity employer.
