What it’s like to be a SNAP Youth Justice Coordinator at Family Resources As a SNAP Youth Justice Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of youth aged 12‑19 who are currently on probation and battling challenges in emotional regulation, problem‑solving skills, and self‑control. Utilizing the evidence‑based SNAP program—STOP NOW AND PLAN—you’ll guide participants through one hour of engaging sessions each week for 13 weeks, or twice a week for six weeks, equipping them with essential skills to navigate difficult situations in a constructive manner. You’ll collaborate closely with the youth and their probation officers, ensuring tailored support for improved decision‑making. This role is not just about delivering the program; you’ll maintain comprehensive documentation, oversee data entry for pre‑ and post‑assessments, and conduct follow‑up calls to confirm that the right resources are being utilized.
