Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) traveler to support our ongoing Emergency Department (ED) Boarding needs. This position will provide critical support throughout the ED while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Schedule

• 3x12 Day/Night rotation (4 weeks of each) OR Straight Nights available
• Every other holiday and every other weekend required
• Orientation sessions available: Weeks of 9/14 and 9/28

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an emergency setting.
• Assist in managing ED boarding needs effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with health care regulations.
• Respond swiftly to patient needs and changes in condition.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
