Nuclear Medicine Technologist Opportunity

Exciting opportunity for an experienced imaging professional specializing in nuclear medicine. A reputable healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract role, scheduled for an ASAP start. This assignment is set for six weeks with the possibility of extension. The position offers a steady weekday scheduleMonday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pmwith no on-call requirements.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 am 3:30 pm)
• No call required

Key Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Strong knowledge and technical expertise in all aspects of nuclear medicine imaging
• Experience handling a broad range of nuclear medicine procedures
• Ability to work efficiently and compassionately with patients and clinical staff
• CT experience preferred but not required
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to start as soon as possible

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as needed
• Appropriately document patient procedures and maintain accurate records
• Monitor patient condition throughout imaging
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to deliver the highest quality patient care
