This position within the team will cover clinical care of patients, comprehensive eye care and participation in a care team in collaboration with esteemed physicians and technicians. Specific interests in Ocular Disease are preferred. Candidates should be residency-trained and willing to participate in the department's academic activities.The department has 40 members who cover all subspecialty areas of ophthalmology, providing services for more than 80,000 patients per year. Equivalent clinical experience, including substantial experience (e.g., 5+ years) in a tertiary or academic practice environment, may be considered in lieu of residency training.Clinical interests in Ocular Disease and/or Low Vision preferredCommitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across a broad spectrum of optometric servicesInterest in academic medicine, including active participation in teaching, research, and other departmental scholarly activitiesStrong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working within a multidisciplinary teamEligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota
