Unit Details:

Weekend: Friday-Sunday or Saturday - Monday

Call: Yes/variable - Typically one week day/call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks

Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed

Minimum Experience: 2 years - Unit accepts first time travelers

Clinical Screen: Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.

Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below:

Christmas Eve/Christmas Day

New Years Eve/New Years Day

Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule

Please Note: Number of Non-Billable Orientation Hours is determined by contract length (ex 8hrs for 8 week assignment; 10hrs for 10 week assignment)

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Agency RTO (Request Time Off) Guidelines: A. 14-week contract= 10 days of RTO B. 26-week contract = 17 days of RTO C. No consecutive weekend request. D. Cannot request all Major Holidays. E. Can only request 1weekend of RTO in a 4- week time frame. You are allowed to switch days in order to get the unapproved RTO covered. Please refer to the unit process for switching. Unit does not accept travel pairs PHIOR does not honor block schedules. No self-scheduling*Management reserves the right to make any necessary adjustments at any time to support the needs of the unit. Special Equipment:

Piedmont Submission Rules:

Local Candidates: Accepted at same bill rate

RN Licensure: GA or Compact license required at time of submission

Internal Return Rule: Perm/Per Diem/FCSS must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year before applying as a traveler

Return Travelers: If cancel or facility DNR, traveler must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying + ensure profile reflects all time worked at Piedmont Health

RTO Policy: ALL RTO MUST BE FINALIZED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION NO RTO OR SCHEDULE REQUESTS CAN BE REQUESTED POST OFFER OR ONSITE

Max RTO: 7 days per contract

Holiday RTO: Holidays (6) - Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year s Eve/Day

If 1 2 holidays fall during assignment: No holiday RTO can be requested

If 3 holidays fall during assignment: 1 holiday RTO may be considered

Compliance:

Onboarding: Must complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing

Deadline: All compliance documents due Tuesday prior to start

Modules: Modules are non-billable, hours are factored in NBO

Modules are completed during orientation, and vary by specialty

Modules are recorded via transcripts
