Your Responsibilities

• Performing exhaustive patient assessments, recommending diagnostic tests, and developing tailored treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions either under the guidance of physicians or independently, based on your credentials
• Imparting knowledge to patients and their families regarding prevention, overall wellness, and effective management of diseases
• Prescribing medications and implementing therapeutic measures within your professional authority
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic diseases
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Thoroughly documenting all clinical interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Credentials Needed

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Iowa
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialized equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
