Project Scheduler
The incumbent is assigned as a project scheduler in the Programs and Project Management Division to support effective and efficient project development, scheduling, execution and control in accordance with the Project Management Business Process.
Works independently, with minimal supervision, in a matrix team environment and supports several Project Managers and Project Delivery Teams in one or more mission areas.
Assists in providing control and management of assigned projects budget and schedule and assuring that the District commitments to the customer are met.
Assists in preparing documentation of scope, schedule and budget expectations and development of a comprehensive management plan that integrates all project requirements into a coordinated and cohesive response.
Provides expert review and troubleshooting of project progress, measuring performance and taking necessary corrective actions to maintain agreed upon schedule and cost.
Develops local reports and procedures to facilitate communication of scope schedule and budget status within the PDT and upward reporting of execution status to Program Managers, Middle Managers and the PRB.
Serves as the team coordinator for inputting and maintaining technical information for the team's projects into the Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS) and the automated Corps of Engineers Project Management System (P2).
