Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN - Nurse Educator for a Community Education unit position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Position is based in a community education department within a hospital setting
• PCU-level nursing background is relevant to this educator role
• 8-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in the relevant specialty
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for PCU-background RNs
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two references required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• All certifications must remain valid through at least the first 30 days of the assignment
