QUICK FACTS
Location: South Madison - 3201 Latham Drive, Madison, WI
Pay: $16.21/hour
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday: 6:45 am - 8:45 am and/or 2:45 pm - 4:45 pm
*Part Year includes built-in summer break, 2 weeks winter break, and spring break

QUALIFICATIONS YOU'LL NEED
- Age: Minimum 18 years old
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Training: Complete Intro to Childcare within 6 months of hire; Pediatric CPR within 6 months
- Physical Requirements: Dexterity, coordination, mobility, visual acuity to lift and/or restrain children of varying sizes
- Professional Competencies: Cultural sensitivity, ability to address needs of children with disabilities
- Experience: Working with low-income, multicultural families
- Knowledge: Basic first aid
- Language: Bilingual in Spanish and/or Hmong desired
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Bus Aide, you'll ensure safe transportation by:
- Assisting with daily pick-up and delivery of children on bus routes
- Providing developmentally appropriate transportation experiences for young children
- Ensuring all children are safe during boarding, riding, and exiting
- Maintaining clean and sanitary bus interior environment
- Supporting children with disabilities during transportation
- Building positive relationships with children and families
- Participating in required training and professional development
