Location: The Gardner School in Eagan
Schedule: 9:30 AM -11 AM
Pay: $25 an hour
Job Type: Part-time, Contract
About Kidtresting
Kidtresting is a joyful and engaging music & movement program designed for toddlers (ages 12 months to preschool) and their caregivers. Our themed sessions use music, movement, sensory props, and interactive play to support developmental growth while fostering connection and fun.
About the Role
We’re looking for energetic 18+, friendly instructors who love singing, moving, and making magic with young children. As a Kidtresting Instructor, you will lead small group sessions using a pre-planned curriculum, guiding toddlers and caregivers through playful, structured activities.
What You’ll Do
- - Lead 25-30-minute music & movement sessions using our structured Kidtresting curriculum
- - Use props like scarves, instruments, bubbles, parachutes, and puppets to create sensory-rich experiences
- - Model playful movement and encourage participation
- - Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment
- - Manage class transitions, set-up/clean-up, and maintain energy and engagement
- - Celebrate every milestone and encourage confidence through fun!
You Are
- - Great with toddlers and their grown-ups
- - Energetic, dependable, and joyful
- - Comfortable singing along to kids' songs and leading group movement
- - Experienced in early childhood education, music, theater, or recreation (preferred)
- - Able to sit/move on the floor and lift lightweight props
- -Reliable transportation
