Oracle Data Modeler Location: Quincy, MA Rate: DOE $/Yr. Position Type: Contract Interview Process: Phone Followed by F2F Job Description · At least 5+ year of experience in Database design / Architecture / Data Modeling for OLTP, ODS and Data Mart or Data Warehouse for Financial Application (such as Trading, Operational, Transaction Processing, Reporting)
- Working knowledge of Erwin
- In depth Working knowledge and experience of Oracle 11g, Exadata, PL/ SQL
- Working knowledge and experience of Oracle Golden Gate
- Working knowledge and experience of Unix Shell Scripting
- Must know how to optimize and improve the performance of the various long running queries
- Recommend best practices / changes for the data base design (conceptual, logical, physical)
- Understand the data requirements, ETL layer and tools familiarity (data transformation / extraction)
- Experience working in a technology driven environment.
- Business Intelligence platforms such as IBM Cognos
- Practical experience using Scrum, Agile modelling and adaptive software development.
