Contract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite | Rotational Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 12-bed Oncology unit with a patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6
• Perform medical, surgical, and chemotherapy-related nursing procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, PCTs, and support staff
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Meditech EMR
• Float to comparable units as needed per facility guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or compact licensure
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Medical-Surgical nursing skills (required; candidates without this will not be considered)
• Experience with Oncology patient populations
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts with rotational weekend requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Oncology unit experience in an acute care setting
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
• Experience administering chemotherapy
