Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to join our team in Northville, MI. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide personalized in-home care and support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide medication reminders and support as directed by healthcare professionals. Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to client dietary needs. Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and errands. Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to supervisors. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance client well-being. Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with the care team. Requirements Previous experience in home care or healthcare is preferred but not required. Ability to pass background checks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Northville, MI. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods. Compassionate, patient, and attentive to clients' needs.
