Non-Exempt, Full-Time Hourly

Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM (37.5 hours/week)

Sedgebrook is seeking a friendly, hospitality-focused Server to join our dining team. No formal serving experience is required we're happy to train the right person. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing warm, attentive service, and wants to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, positive dining experience for residents and guests.
• Provide gracious, courteous, and attentive table service.
• Take orders, deliver meals, and respond to resident requests with care.
• Answer menu-related questions confidently (training provided).
• Set tables and maintain workstations in an organized, clean manner.
• Follow food quality, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times.

What We're Looking For

• A friendly, customer-service-oriented attitude.
• Interest in hospitality, service, and working with older adults.
• Willingness to learn serving experience is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Experience working with seniors is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for 100% of the workday.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and balance throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to push or pull carts weighing up to 50 lbs.
