Staff AccountantReports To: ControllerSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneExempt ( ) Non-Exempt ( x ) 5 days per week, fully on-site roleThis position is designed to provide general accounting support including monthly closing, financial statement preparation and bank account reconciliation.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare monthly closing entries and accrualsPrepare or review various GL reconciliationsMaintain fixed asset accounting recordsPrepare and complete monthly and annual financial reports in a timely mannerReconcile and analyze intercompany transactionsReconcile monthly bank statementsProcess weekly invoicesPrepare bank deposits as requiredNON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs all related duties as assignedQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required, or equivalent combination of education and experienceMust have solid accounting theory backgroundMust have at least 3-5 years' experience in related fieldRequires strong computer literacy skills, advanced Excel skills and competency in basic Microsoft Office programsExcellent oral and written communication skillsMust know how to set priorities to meet deadlinesMust be accurate and detail orientedMust have initiative, enthusiasm and self-motivationTimberline and Sage fixed asset software experience preferredHow We Support You:Health benefits for you and your family, including medical/dental/vision additional health benefits include life, long term disability, FSA or HSA and 401(k)Vacation and sick time along with 11 paid holidays and annually designated employee appreciation daysA diverse team of coworkers that care about each other in a fun, exciting work environmentPay Transparency Disclosure: The pay scale for this position is $36.00-$40.00 per hour.
