Doctor of Medicine | Cardiology - General/Other Location: Coos Bay, OR Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities Provide a broad scope of evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for cardiac disease processes in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform and interpret a variety of diagnostic tests, including EKGs, Echocardiography, Cardiac Nuclear Imaging, Stress Echocardiography, Holter/event monitors, and Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE). Perform cardioversions and oversee the review and signing of individual treatment plans for cardiac rehab patients. Manage an average daily volume of 10 to 15 patients with the support of dedicated Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. Collaborate effectively with other medical specialties to meet established standards of practice within the cardiovascular clinic. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) to ensure compliance with healthcare facility policies and regulatory standards. Participate in physician meetings and assist with policy formation for the cardiology practice. Qualifications & Credentialing Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine is required. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (Non-Invasive) is required. Fellowship training in Cardiology is required. Active Oregon medical license (or willingness to obtain) is required. Verification of ties to Oregon (e.g., family in the area or prior residency) is required. Nuclear and Echo certification is highly preferred. Clean malpractice history and background are required. A most recent NPDB Self-Query Report (active within the last 30 days) must be provided at the time of presentation. DEA registration must be obtained prior to start.
