Float Pharmacist

Responsibilities Fulfill customers' prescription needs while ensuring the accuracy of every prescription dispensed Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care services Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations, including HIPAA requirements Maintain a professional image through personal appearance, conduct, attitude, and the physical condition of the pharmacy Develop a thorough understanding of the local market, customer base, and competitive landscape Foster a positive pharmacy environment through excellent customer service, teamwork, and collaboration with healthcare providers and vendors Monitor inventory levels, stock replenishment, recordkeeping, scheduling, sanitation, security, and operational procedures Maintain accurate records and proper inventory controls for controlled substances and other regulated medications Ensure all pharmacy products are obtained from authorized sources and handled according to established procedures Utilize available accuracy and quality assurance tools to support patient safety Maintain all documentation and reporting practices necessary for legal compliance, accounting standards, and operational requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment throughout the pharmacy Process product returns in accordance with established policies and procedures Ensure all pharmacy equipment, including computers, printers, scanners, and registers, remains in proper working condition Maintain and organize policy manuals, reference materials, state regulations, and required pharmacy equipment Ensure all required signage and regulatory notices are properly displayed Continuously expand professional knowledge and pharmacy skills through ongoing education and development Perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD Current pharmacist license in good standing within the applicable state Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations Strong mathematical skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction Effective verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications One (1) year of retail pharmacy experience Bilingual or multilingual communication skills
