Our client  develops, manufactures, markets, distributes, and sells orthopedic implant devices, related surgical instrumentation, and biologic services. Many of the roles are temp to hire with our client. All of their buildings are air-conditioned and a comfortable work environment. 

Job Summary

Th e Sales Representative role is a position for growing new business for Omni Seals, a custom elastomer (rubber) molding business for Schlumberger.  Primarily the SR will develop new customers and new opportunities outside of Schlumberger.  The individual will target key industries such as defense, aerospace and other government contractors, but can also develop customers for all other industries that use elastomers.  The individual will lead technical conversations between customers and engineering to develop new products and business.

Job Description

• Identify, develop and manage new customers and business opportunities - new markets, new partnerships, new ways to reach existing markets, for the assigned service/product.
• Participates in the opportunity management process for critical opportunities.
  
• Coordinate the technical, operational, commercial and legal risk mitigation/support/reviews for all proposals.
  
• Participate in customer proposal/contract negotiations, as needed.
  
• Attends conferences, meetings, and industry events to gain insight on industry trends and developments
  
• Collaborate with engineering to develop to new products for customer
  
• Manage customer delivery with planning and manufacturing for new and existing customers
  
• Coordinate quality concerns between customer and internal quality team

Skills Required

• Selling to the government and Defense industry is preferred, but not required
• Molded Elastomer knowledge is preferred
  
• Experience selling to technical individuals is required
  
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  
• 5 years’ experience required, 10 years preferred
  
• Sole U.S. Citizenship required

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.

Salary Rate

• $100,000 - $150,000  per year (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
