Job Title: Emergency Department Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: ACLS, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Good patient experience skills with patients and families. Critical care thinking. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Description: This position is for an Emergency Department Nurse. The nurse will work in a 32-bed emergency department. Patient ratios will be maintained at 1:4 to 1:5. The role requires handling a variety of medical cases. Experience with stroke, STEMI, and trauma cases is preferred. The nurse will be expected to provide energetic and knowledgeable care. Flexibility to float to other areas according to competencies is required. Stamina is needed to manage the fast-paced nature of the department.
