Work Schedule:

Part Time - (48 hours bi-weekly)
7pm - 7:30am
3rd Weekend rotation
3rd Holiday rotation

Job Overview:

The OB Float Pool at Good Samaritan Hospital offers RNs a highly flexible and fast‑paced environment where they rotate between obstetric units based on patient census and staffing needs. These units may include Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, High - Risk Perinatal, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) , each with its own workflow, acuity, and care priorities. This flexibility is supported by the hospital’s float‑pool structure, which includes variable shift lengths, weekend options, and a rotation cycle that allows nurses to tailor schedules while maintaining competency across multiple areas.

Job Requirements:

Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing

New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire

Experience in one of our GSH Perinatal Units (Required)

BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)

Registered Nurse

Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social
