Join us.ATI is seeking to hire Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering majors as Rotational Process Engineers. Based in our Western Pennsylvania facilities, candidates would be involved in a three-year rotational program among the various facilities, gaining valuable exposure to the various operations and functional areas within the ATI Specialty Rolled Products Business Unit. This program offers opportunities for advancement in Product & Process Engineering. Essential FunctionsResponsible for process development and improvementResolving quality-related issues and troubleshooting process related problemsResponsible for quality cost controlOff standard product dispositions and resolving quality-related issuesInteraction with production workers on a daily basis on quality related issuesYield and product quality improvement projectsEnsure product meets customer specificationsSupport customer new product qualificationsInterface with customers to resolve complaints and rejectionsJob RequirementsBasic QualificationsBachelor of Science in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering related fieldsPreferred QualificationsPrevious internship experience working in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with computer-based process models and optimization techniquesProficiency with ad-hoc database queries using Microsoft Access or SQLWe thrive when the expectations are great, and the barriers are high.
