Description Senior Manager of Operations- Final Mile Pay or shift range: $85,000 USD to $95,000 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Your role on the team: Coordinates distribution and warehousing in a cross-dock operation Confers with customers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in the area Develops plans for efficient use of materials, equipment, and employees Reviews costs and makes changes/recommendations to maintain and enhance profitable operation of divisions Participates in marketing and sales efforts, ensuring assigned facilities have the resources necessary to meet company goals and objectives, as well as P&L responsibilities Manages direct reports to include Team Assistant Manager of Operations and Terminal Manager Responsible for Recruitment and retention of contract carriers What you need: Minimum 3 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form What you gain from joining our team: Access wages early with the Rain financial wellness app Free telemedical access to doctors and therapists through First Stop Health is available on the first day of employment!
