Diesel Mechanic

Pay: $35–50$/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Benefits: PTO, paid holidays, and 401(k) match

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered equipment and vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, and other components
• Perform inspections and identify equipment issues
• Troubleshoot fuel, cooling, and exhaust systems
• Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and diagnostic information
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
• Strong diesel engine diagnostic and repair experience
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty equipment
• Experience with preventative maintenance
• Welding/fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
