Do you love creating a welcoming environment and making people smile? Look no further, LaJava is seeking a fun and energetic Barista to join our team! Our baristas are the heart and soul of our coffee shop, crafting delicious beverages and having fun in the process. We believe in growth! RESPONSIBILITIES
- Co-creative positive experiences with our amazing customers
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, smoothies, refreshers, and energy drinks
- Creativity is encouraged (coming up with new drinks, processes, product ideas)
- Provide exceptional service with a friendly and engaging attitude
- Operate drink equipment and troubleshoot any issues
- Prepare / bake / cook food for our customers
- Keep up-date with coffee / drink trends and new brewing / crafting techniques
- Create latte art and other visually appealing coffee presentations
QUALIFICATIONS
- We are willing to train the right candidate, no previous experience necessary
- Excellent customer service skills and friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently
- Excellent communication and teamwork
- Passion for creating a positive work environment
- Desire to learn and grow
