Assignment duration is 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Highlights: \n \n Work in an 8-bed high-acuity Cardiac Intensive Care Unit specializing in complex cardiac monitoring and treatment \n Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes for adult cardiac patients \n Receive patients from Cath Lab, Emergency Department, and Acute Care areas requiring specialized cardiac intervention \n Biweekly orientation with 16 hours of non-billable onboarding \n Competitive compensation with overtime available after 48 hours per week \n Local candidates welcome with no rate differential \n Requirements: \n \n Active Alabama or Compact state RN license (temporary licenses not accepted) \n ASN degree required \n AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; PALS required if working in pediatric units \n Minimum 2 years of RN experience (18 months may be considered with 1 year specialty experience) \n Must pass Dysrhythmia Basic exam during onboarding (2 attempts permitted) \n Willingness to float to other units and facilities as needed \n Experience with Meditech charting system preferred \n Why Join Us? \n This is an excellent opportunity to advance your cardiac critical care expertise in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
