Description: The MRI Tech will work during the day for a schedule of three 12-hour shifts. This position requires call every 2-3 weeks. Experience with both inpatient and outpatient settings is necessary. The types of scans performed include Brain (Perfusion, Functional, Spectroscopy), Body (Enterography, Defecography, Musculoskeletal), Breast (including Breast biopsy), and Spine. Travelers must ensure they are clean-shaven for fit testing with a mask. Fit testing will not be accommodated for those who do not shave. Special equipment used includes Siemens Aera 1.5t and Siemens Skyra 3.0t. All clinicians are subject to a one-year limit as a traveler, followed by a six-month break before returning. Modules are not billable and will vary in hours. Modules are recorded on transcripts and completed before the start of the position.
