PATIENT RESOLUTION SPECIALIST
LOCATION
Dallas, TX 75204 | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $18/hour
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
ROLE IMPACT
The Patient Resolution Specialist resolves complex patient accounts through research, communication, negotiation, and timely follow-up. This role works with patients, attorneys, insurance representatives, collectors, and internal teams to obtain accurate information, resolve outstanding balances, and maintain complete documentation in the patient accounting system.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Negotiate and communicate with attorneys regarding motor vehicle accident (MVA) accounts, including settlement information requests and account resolution.
• Research, obtain, review, and update patient insurance and account information from patients, attorneys, insurance companies, and other appropriate sources.
• Review account balances and supporting documentation, including employee educational program balances and bankruptcy information, to determine appropriate resolution and follow-up.
• Process collector requests for charity care applications, itemized statements, and related materials while accurately documenting all activity.
• Maintain detailed account notes and complete assigned research, follow-up, and resolution activities while protecting confidential patient and financial information.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to research and analyze account information, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and electronic patient accounting or account management systems.
