Medical Assistant (WIOA, ISY/OSY)

*This is a Work Experience (work-based training) position available through Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend. All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is determined. Job Title: Medical AssistantPosition Type FT/PT, 8am-5pm, Monday-FridayLocation: Corpus ChristiSecond Chance Employer- NoPay Rate $10.00-$12.00/HrAge: 18+Training: HS Diploma/GEDRecruiter: M. - interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.
- Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records.
- Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians' instructions to patients.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
