Radiologic Technologist – Mobile X-Ray

Location: Wilmington, DE
Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
Shift: Evenings
Weekend: Rotating
On-Call: Rotating
Pay: $32–$34/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist correctional facility , and home health settings. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently and traveling to various patient locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mobile X-ray examinations using portable DR or CR radiography equipment .
• Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically accurate X-ray images.
• Transport and set up portable X-ray equipment at patient facilities.
• Submit and transmit images to radiologists for interpretation.
• Perform EKGs when required and transmit results to cardiologists.
• Complete and scan examination-related paperwork and billing documents.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, clients, and healthcare staff.
• Maintain portable X-ray equipment and assigned vehicle.
• Follow all applicable radiation safety and operational procedures.
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care in various healthcare environments.

Requirements

• ARRT certification required.
• Active Delaware or Maryland radiologic technologist license required.
• Compact license accepted.
• Limited license not accepted.
• Valid driver's license in the applicable state and a good driving record required.
• Ability to travel between nursing homes, healthcare facilities, correctional facilities, and home health locations.
• Ability to safely push/pull portable X-ray equipment weighing approximately 50–100 lbs .
• COVID-19 vaccination required; approved exemptions may be considered with appropriate documentation.
• Strong communication and independent-work skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $32–$34/hour
Shift Differential: Available
Possible Relocation Assistance: Discussed during interview
State Licensure Reimbursement: Available after 90 days of employment
