Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

The position involves supervising and evaluating Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by relevant accrediting bodies. Current, unencumbered physical therapy license in the state of assignment (Maryland) prior to assignment start. Current CPR certification. Familiarity with basic computer functions including email, internet navigation, and electronic documentation systems. Ability to perform home visits, including reliable transportation and valid driver's license. State- or client-specific requirements: must meet applicable state licensing or registration standards and perform duties in accordance with home health therapy regulations for the assigned state. Preferred: 2–3 years of physical therapy experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in home health settings. Experience supervising PTAs or home health aides. Familiarity with state-specific home health therapy regulations and plan-of-care coordination. Assignment Details Shift: Evenings, 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift. Must perform home visits and community-based care. May be required to supervise and evaluate Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides as assigned. Responsibilities include evaluating patient function, developing and updating treatment plans, documenting patient progress, coordinating discharge planning, and educating patients, families, and other agency personnel. Follow applicable state regulations for supervision of therapy assistants and documentation requirements.
