Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 AM - 07:30 PM)

Job Description

We are seeking qualified candidates for a vital role with the following requirements:

Start Date: 10/05 or 10/18 (hard start, no exceptions)
Certifications Required:
- AHA ACLS
- AHA BLS
- NIHSS
(Flexibility for certification renewals is possible; candidates are encouraged to apply.)
Prior plastic surgery skills check is no longer necessary.
Weekend shifts required: 4 shifts in a 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including holiday weekends.
Candidate may need to float to across five hospitals or lower acuity units, excluding the Emergency Department, based on patient census.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience required, including charge experience.
- Patient ratio experience: 2:1.
- Charting System Experience: Required (Epic preferred).
- Community hospital experience is preferred.
Certifications: Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required.
Skills:
- Accessing/Managing Ports
- Arterial line management
- Assistance with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal
- Care of Ventilated Patients
- Central line care/management
- Emergency Medications
- Ventilator Management
- Traumatic Brain Injury care
- And more specific critical care skills.

Facility & Patient Care Details

Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
Daily Census: Varies across the system of 5 hospitals
Interdisciplinary Support: Includes teams from Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and more.

Additional Information

Float Requirements: Candidates are required to float at or below their skill set as needed.
Module Requirements: Non-billable, 8 hours of training to be completed prior to start; must be finished before the documentation due date.
