Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate in Chicago, IL, with 2 to 4 years of experience in general corporate/commercial matters, M&A transactions, and preferably private equity, joint ventures, and corporate governance. Knowledge of securities law and technology is advantageous.

Duties

• Handle general corporate and commercial matters.
• Manage M&A transactions and equity investments.
• Advise on joint ventures and partnership issues.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of relevant legal experience.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Experience in a law firm setting.
• New York Bar admission required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York Bar.
