Quality Assurance Technician ensures products leave the facility and meet expectations for consumers and distributors. Quality Assurance Technician will report on product quality and efficiencies to the Quality team and provide suggestions and feedback when necessary. Quality Assurance Technician will follow all safety requirements and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Areas of FocusQuality Assurance Technician focuses on dock audits and record inspection and test results. Quality Assurance Technician will also report all questionable items, materials, and/or processes to appropriate management for analysis and disposition.ResponsibilitiesMaintain Quality Assurance Department records, both hard copy and electronic copyPerform simple quality tests, casting/pasting inspections, curing released, voltage, gravity, etc.Perform acid receiving analysis and load acceptancePerform battery autopsy analysis and identify failure modesAssists QA Engineer with data collection and analysisUnderstand the battery manufacturing process from receiving through shippingReview circuit tending paperworkTroubleshoot any conditions that adversely affect product qualityMake recommendations for adjusting equipmentFully perform QA procedures in all plant and shipping areasPerform electrical testing/analysis of all battery typesResponsible individual with strong work ethicAvailable for various shifts, and overtimeBasic QualificationsHigh School DiplomaMinimum 3 years of manufacturing and plant experienceGood writing and communication skillsSome formal QA trainingAbility to use hand tools and learn specific machine controls, gauges, etc.Understand specifications and labels associated with hazardous materialProficient in Microsoft OfficeIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
